Wisdom Wednesday

Consistency. One of the most IMPORTANT words in any fitness routine. Those goals you have are a lot harder to hit if you are not constantly working towards them. Yes, it is hard to stay consistent. We get sore or injured, life gets in the way, we get bored, or we hit our goals and don't know where to go next. I know I have been there. I have had all of those consistency killers happen. However, when I am consistent, when my goals are in the forefront of my daily plan, when milestone after milestone gets surpassed as I inch closer to my goals. That's when I feel at my best. The pursuit in most cases is better than the finish line. When the race is over you don't analyze the goal, you analyze the process. Embrace the journey, be consistent, and I guarantee those mountains (goals) will fall.
